Rancho Feliz is a 297-space all-age Community in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County.

Spread among 37 acres, Rancho Feliz is an inviting refuge from urban life. Once inside the park a visitor encounters the sound of wind whistling in the trees, extensive landscaping, wide streets, large homesites, greenbelts and cul-de-sacs that are features of the Rancho Feliz community.

Amenities include a pool, recreation center with large assembly room, playgrounds, BBQ area, large clubhouse and, of course, the beautiful Sonoma County location.

We bought Rancho Feliz in September 2003 from the City of Rohnert Park. To help with our acquisition, the Rohnert Park Redevelopment Agency made a grant from its housing fund, allowed us to sell low-interest tax-exempt bonds and transferred the funds remaining in the existing reserve accounts to the park.

The City’s assistance has allowed us to bring the Millennium Program to Rancho Feliz, as follows:

• We will continue to upgrade the community, beginning with a $225,000 clubhouse remodel in early 2004. Further improvements will include additional landscaping, improved playgrounds, more parking and other items as suggested by the Homeowners’ Association. We expect to spend nearly $1,000,000 on Rancho Feliz in the next few years.
  
  
• We will follow Rohnert Park’s rent control ordinance, even if rent control is repealed by a later City Council or Court. This is rent control that can’t be taken away!
  
  
• Additional funds are set aside each year, as we endeavor to maintain a high quality facility.
  
  
• Management meets regularly with the Homeowners Association Board to discuss park policies, budget priorities and capital improvement needs.
